In 1955 a woman named Veronica Rondal created a science facility based on exposing and finding signs of paranormal activity and as the years progressed so did Veronica's Work. In 2015 a twenty two year old journalist Patrick Barret thought he was starting to live a normal life, until he noticed the small weird occurrences that kept appearing, He ignored it until a strange figure wearing a dark hood kept showing up in his life and trying to kill everyone that he loved. His life was only just starting to fall back into place, but after a few words it was as if it was all a lie. With the help of his friends he was out to search for the answers to how they are involved with all the paranormal nonsense. Who can you trust when you don't even know if you're real? What can you do if you can't even control yourself? How do you hear a lie?

This book constitutes the proceedings of the 11th International Conference on Biomimetic and Biohybrid Systems, Living Machines 2022, held as virtual event, in July 19–22, 2022. The conference was held virtually due to the COVID-19 crisis. The 30 full papers and 8 short papers presented were carefully reviewed and selected from 48 submissions.
