Eleanor Callahan

Harry Callahan (1912-1999) was one of American photography's great innovators. During a career that spanned six decades, Callahan pursued an individual and experimental approach and investigated a wide range of themes, techniques, and materials. Yet he cherished no photographs more than the images of his wife, Eleanor, which form an intimate visual diary of a lifestyle and a relationship.
