The Paintings and Sketches of Louis I. Kahn is the first comprehensive presentation and analysis of this great twentieth-century master's art works - his main pursuit for the thirty years before he achieved preeminence in the field of architecture. The charcoal sketches, pastels, watercolors, and oils presented here were made largely on Kahn's travels and vacations in Europe, Canada, and the United States.
