The lived experience of murder - those who kill, those whose loved ones are killed, and those who investigate and who participate in the legal disposition of homicide - is the subject of this work. As part of a continuing series with the Foundation of Thanatology, this volume comprises twenty-eight essays which address such topics as the military, euthanasia, terrorism, gun control, and capital punishment. The Human Side of Homicide incorporates legal and public health perspectives on homicide and presents work drawn from a wide range of related professions. Material is organized in three sections.
