Obwohl Lehrpersonen die Qualität von Unterricht entscheidend mitbestimmen, ist in der Berufs- und Wirtschaftspädagogik relativ wenig darüber bekannt, wie Lehrkräfte an beruflichen Schulen denken und handeln. Die Arbeit greift dieses Forschungsdefizit theoriegeleitet auf. Bezogen auf den Lerninhaltsbereich Buchführung analysiert der Autor, über welche Sichtweisen Lehrkräfte berichten, wie sie Unterricht gestalten und wie sich die erzielbaren Effekte auf Seiten der Lernenden darstellen. Anschließend überprüft er, inwiefern sich Zusammenhänge zwischen Sichtweisen von Lehrpersonen, Unterrichtsgestaltung und Output ausmachen lassen.
