Durch eine wachsende Marktdynamik in Verbindung mit neuen BI-Technologien stehen Unternehmen derzeit vor der Herausforderung, sowohl schnelle Bereitstellungszyklen und flexible Architekturen als auch effiziente, zentralisierte und standardisierte Infrastrukturen zu unterstützen. So soll der Fachbereich einerseits schnell in der Lage sein, möglichst eigenständig Reports und Datenhaltungen zu verändern, gleichzeitig sollen aber auch Anforderungen nach Revisionssicherheit, einem Single Point of Truth oder Konsistenz der Daten berücksichtigt werden. Im Anschluss werden fünf exemplarische Szenarien zum Umgang mit Agilitätsanforderungen in unternehmensspezifischen BI-Architekturen vorgestellt. Die Ergebnisse dieser Arbeit leisten eine Diskussionsgrundlage zur Integration von Agilitätsanforderungen in unternehmensweite BI-Architekturen. Weiter liefert die Arbeit BI-architektonische Grundlagen zur Unterstützung von BI-Agilität in unternehmensweiten BI-Gesamtansätzen.
