Die vorliegende Ausgabe besteht komplett aus freien Beiträgen, da für dieses Heft ein themenoffener Call for Papers erfolgte. Ein Novum für die ZFHE, die durch die deutliche Zunahme der Einreichungen für freie Beiträge in den letzten Jahren möglich wurde. Die insgesamt 15 Artikel können gleichwohl grob drei inhaltlichen Clustern zugeordnet werden, nach denen das Heft strukturiert ist: "Individualisierung, Kompetenzorientierung und neue Lehr- und Lernformen", "Soziale und akademische Inklusion" sowie "Qualifizierung und Förderung des Personals". Aufgrund dieser thematischen Breite und Vielfalt von Forschungs- und Entwicklungsbeiträgen hoffen wir, dass jede*r einen anregenden Beitrag finden wird.
