Curating Pop speaks to the rapidly growing interest in the study of popular music exhibitions, which has occurred alongside the increasing number of popular music museums in operation across the world. Catching Gracie is the story about the trials, fears, and disappointments the Bakers had as they searched for their small black-and-tan dachshund, Gracie. The very first day at her new home, Gracie escaped from her kennel into a strange new world to her. She trusted no one. Afraid and bewildered, Gracie ran fast into the woods where coyotes roam. Other wild animals larger than Gracie also lived there. This was a very dangerous place for a small dachshund. The story relates the many situations and anxious days the Bakers spent while trying to catch Gracie.

From their first iconic pairing in 7th Heaven (1927) and in eleven films that followed, Janet Gaynor and Charles Farrell created an unparalleled cinematic romance. Their partnership was so utterly complete that in the minds and hearts of their adoring public, they were as one. Even though both enjoyed successful solo careers-Janet Gaynor won the first Best Actress Oscar and played Vicki Lester in the original A Star Is Born (1937) and Charles Farrell enjoyed a successful television career, playing Vern Albright on My Little Margie-their work as a team stood out.
