This book addresses the multiple technical aspects of thedistribution of synchronization in new generation telecommunicationnetworks, focusing in particular on synchronous Ethernet andIEEE1588 technologies. Many packet network engineers struggle withunderstanding the challenges that precise synchronizationdistribution can impose on networks.
