Für viele Pfarrer und Lehrer ist es schwierig, nach dem Studium theologisch "am Ball zu bleiben". Nur wenigen gelingt es, einige gar halten die Theologie für entbehrlich. Und schließlich gibt es eine große Zahl an Studierenden, denen sich bei der Fülle an Einzelheiten kein Blick mehr auf die Gesamtheit des Faches erschließt. An jene Gruppen wendet sich dieser Band. In einer Reihe von Aufsätzen, die seit 2017 im Korrespondenzblatt des Bayerischen Pfarrer- und Pfarrerinnenvereins erschienen, stellen namhafte Vertreter der Bibelwissenschaften aktuelle Diskussionen oder strittige Fragestellungen vor. Dabei handelt es sich um wichtige Themen der gegenwärtigen theologischen Debatte, etwa die Diskussion um Tod und Auferstehung Jesu oder die neuen Perspektiven auf die biblische Anthropologie. Einen Schwerpunkt bilden zudem Artikel zu biblischen Gestalten wie Mose, Herodes, Pilatus oder Petrus. Die Sammlung wird ergänzt um einige bisher unveröffentlichte Artikel. Update-Exegesis 2.2. Basic Questions of Contemporary Biblical Studies For many pastors and teachers it is difficult to theologically "stay on the ball" after their studies. Only a few succeed, some even consider theology as dispensable. And finally there are a large number of students who, because of the abundance of details, can no longer see the entirety of the subject. This volume is addressed to those groups. In a series of essays published since 2017 in the "Korrespondenzblatt des Bayerischen Pfarrer- und Pfarrerinnenvereins", renowned representatives of Biblical Studies present current discussions or controversial questions. They address important topics of the current theological debate, such as the discussion on the death and resurrection of Jesus or the new perspectives on biblical anthropology. Another focus is on articles on biblical figures such as Moses, Herod, Pilate or Peter. The collection is supplemented by some previously unpublished articles.
