How to Lose a Guy Before Christmas

Cute little Christmas Rom-com.  Lucy has to get to her parents house for Christmas.  When her flight is canceled, she grabs a ride share with a stranger (or so she thinks).  When she get in the car, she realizes it’s someone she hooked up with off a dating app and then ghosted.  With this being her only option, the ride begins with awkwardness, bitterness and anger and goes downhill from there until they have to work together to get home.

It’s a spicy Hallmark Movie 🎄❄️

I love a good rom com, and this was a delightful Christmas surprise. The story has all the elements of a good Hallmark movie: awkward re-meet when your one night stand from a hookup app is your ride share, break down in a blizzard at the exit of a small Christmas obsessed town called Tinsel full of lusty senior center characters, plenty of magical small town events that kindle that flame- check, check, check, & check. Fun all the way around. It also must be said- the narrator’s were very good- especially Jason Clarke & his gorgeous deep voice and surprisingly funny takes on some of the quirky characters in the town. So, recapping- Fun Hallmark worthy rom com, great narration, and some spice=recipe for a holiday read you’ll enjoy.
