Well, this reread was an unfortunate downgrade. I honestly don't know why I gave it five stars in the first place. I will just put the three stars here because I have some weird sense of sentiment for this book. 

I'm too mad a tired of this book to write a review, so I will just list things I hated here, and two things I genuinely I liked.


I will start with the positive note, our heroine Sawyer. I loved that girl. She was a good person with shitty parents and a school that hated her for no reason. No reason because hating on someone for being plus size is just plain stupid. She was smart until, she decided to take Cole back every time he fucked up. She deserved someone better than him, after everything she had to went through with him. Only because of her weight.

The next and last positive thing here is the writing style. I have already read three books by this author, each of them was thick and each time I managed to read them in less than two days.


Moving to the less pleasant part. Things I hated, or more like the person I hated. Cole Covington. I despise this guy. There isn't enough room in the goodreads review form to list the things he did to Sawyer. I will never understand how she could ever forgive him. She had her whole life ahead of her and decided to pick a moron who thought it would be a good idea to bet the other moron on his team for his Ferrari. 

I don’t even want to talk about his twin brother death. He was a piece of shit to him, because he was jealous. I know he was a kid, but reading the past chapters made me want to go inside the book and slap him hard enough for him to wake up after his twin lived a happy life without him in it. 


I'm glad I decided to skip the first book because I didn't like the main couple from there here.

Alright, I'm hanging it up and marking it as half finished (maybe I'll never pick it up in the future again, who knows). I've read 231 of the 583 pages so I think I'm qualified to do a review. 
1. Author you could have added more to Sawyer's character than just being an insecure fat chick. I don't even know what kind of fat we are talking here? Is she actually fat or is she fat compared to a slender girl? I don't know, I'm just very confused and I can't read 2 pages without knowing once more that she's fat. I get, can we move on?
2. I'm sick of Jace and Dylan and especially Dylan, after having the most toxic relationship in book 1 they have now become Lord and Supreme being over every one elses relationship. Why do we need to know what Dylan thinks and wants all the time? She's become a whiny old bitch. "Oh Dylan wants this, Oh Dylan needs that, poor Dylan" I want to pull my hair out every time they appear in the book.
3. This also didn't go down well for because of the constant disrespect of God. If you're not going to represent Christianity right, then don't do it. I honestly don't think it was all that edgy to be honest. It was clearly used as a prop to make Cole out to be me of an uncaring prick and for Sawyer to only use when convenient.
4. Also Bianca and Oakley isn't doing it for me. He's a bum and she's too bitchy for her own good.

I really enjoyed this book, as I did the first one. 
I loved Cole and Sawyer, as well as Bianca and Oakley.
I loved how both sawyer and cole have faults, equally.
I also loved how these faults played out, even if at times, they frustrated me, but it all adds to the angst. 
These two aren’t perfect, but that’s exactly the type of character I want to read about. But as a couple? They’re pretty great.
If I had one criticism it would be that more effort could’ve been made to make this part of the series, explaining things a little more. It didn’t have to be much, just an effort to refresh memories, or clue in new readers.
Still, this is a great bully romance, give it a try!

I loved the book. I read it in one sitting and couldn’t put the book down. In my opinion this book was better than the first one. There was nothing wrong with the first book it just didn’t feel the same as this one. You definitely need to read the first one before though, since otherwise a few things won’t make sense if you haven’t.

The book shows what it feels like when you have lost someone close to you (does in the first book also) and how people react to thing differently.

For this book you should definitely check up on trigger warnings. There’s a few things that are described in the book that could trigger people. I read this book a while ago so I don’t remember exactly all of the things in it. But one thing I remember that is in the book is addiction to a type of drug. Or at least I think it was a drug. But addiction and suicide are talked about/happen in the book.
