Initial Thoughts;
I think that middle book syndrome was strong with this particular book. And it is such a shame. Across the Universe really set up a cool premise and I thought it ended really well. But sadly, even though I rated this 4 stars, I still wasn't 100% sold on this book. 

Characters;
While at first I was super gung ho on Elder and Amy, I found that I didn't like Amy or their relationship in this book. Elder is supposed to be running this ship and figuring things out. Instead he is more concerned about Amy and her feelings about him. He really wasn't that great of leader, even though he was probably pretty well prepared for it. 

Amy didn't help things either. She was either incredibly pissed off at Elder or drooling over him. She spent a good majority of her time hating Orion but still blindly following all these clues he left for her. Amy really regressed in terms of growth, I felt. She didn't quite grasp the fact that Elder needed to be running this ship, not being at her beck and call. 

Plot;
The plot itself was alright. There were a lot of reveals and overtime those reveals took over the story. I felt there was one even chapter. I am all for information being revealed but when it starts to take over the story, then we have a problem. As I mentioned above, I felt like a lot of the book was about the relationship between Amy and Elder. I wasn't about that. I wanted to know more about the Godspeed and what is going with that shady ship. I did eventually get my answers but I had to deal with teenage angst and I didn't care for that. 

Overall;
This was good, despite my less than positive words. It was needed in order to gain more information about the Godspeed but I felt it could have focused more on the ship and less about whether Amy and Elder were finally going to kiss. I still recommend this series but be warned. You will have to put up with a lot of teenage angst before you get to the good stuff.

Great sequel to an okay book. I enjoyed it, though there were some parts I thought didn't really need to be included. Some plot points felt like they were only there to make the book longer. And there were several character deaths (whoops, spoilers) that I could tell were supposed to mean something, but...you don't really feel the impact of character deaths when they've basically just been introduced. They didn't mean anything, they were just expendable characters whose deaths were used to build upon the main characters. So that kinda annoyed me.

I didn't enjoy this one as much as the first in the series. I found a lot of it really predictable, even though it was supposed to be really edge-of-your seat type mystery. The characters seemed a lot more annoying this time around too. I found a lot of their decisions really dumb. I will probably read the next one just to finish the series, but won't be in a hurry.

All I´m going to say is that I expected so much more from this book. 
I read the first book in the series and thought it was interesting. I was really looking forward to reading the sequel.
Well, this book was such a letdown .. I can´t even write a proper book review for this. I don´t even know what I should write. 
There´s only one thing I know: I probably won´t continue reading the series. It´s not worth it. Sorry, Beth Revis .I´m not trying to be mean but, to be honest, this series sucks !

This book was fantastic. 
I didn't have high expectations because usually sequels to a great book suck most of the time. But A Million Suns was sooo good. Oh my god. I even liked it better than the Across the Universe and that means something.

En este libro los protagonistas fueron más inteligentes, me sentí mucho más cómoda entre Elder y Amy que maduraron con respecto al primer libro.
Este libro me trajo más sorpresas aun cuando el final era predecible y aún cuando la historia no me atrapara tanto como para leerlo compulsivamente.
