I do not often cry reading books, but this had me sobbing uncontrollably while trying to read the words out loud (Jake and I read this together.) I’ll go so far to say as I’ve never read a more moving and beautiful reflection on faith, love, life, death, grief, and eternity. It will impact my marriage for many years to come. It was also very fun to see CS Lewis through the eyes of someone who knew him personally.

This book is so overwrought and poorly written that I can't finish it. I wanted to get to the Oxford stories and C.S. Lewis stuff, but it's not worth it.
