What a book this is! I can honestly say that I love Laura Woods writing and this book is no different. I love everything about this book the Characters, The Settings and the descriptions just make this book come to life in a way that makes the book seem so much like a movie. I love that Freya is able to find herself and finds her dream calling in the Theatre and which is magical to read. 

Through this book there is the key them of not only finding your dream but for fighting for that dream! Freya takes risk by leaving her country life behind to go after her dream of being in the theatre and ending up being the best version of herself, it’s just so magical to read about! 

Another stunning read from Laura Wood - her writing never ceases to blow me away, beautiful, captivating and honest. This book talks about mental health, diversity in theatre, race representation in theatre and dreams/goals. 

Laura Wood always has a key theme running through her novels, A Snowfall of Silver’s was all about following your dream and working out what exactly that dream is. This book left me feeling inspired to really work towards a life where I am following in Freya’s footsteps of jumping on opportunities and living the best version of my life. This is what I love most about Laura’s books, they leave me wanting to be a better person. 

The atmosphere Laura creates in this book is beautiful, snowy landscapes, Abbey ruins, cosy moments and fun and bustling parties. There is such a range, which makes this book feel so fast and compelling, whilst really stripping the story down to this one character’s journey. I could just keep reading Laura Wood books on repeat, she is a truly stunning writer.
