a beautiful, tear jerking young adult love story that touches your soul. it’s a reminder to not waste a single second, seek adventures, and capture moments! life is beautiful with the light and despite the darkness. always keep your loved ones close and it’s never too late to rekindle relationships. i wasn’t the biggest fan of the epilogue and positive person who has a terminal illness trope but i loved this theme, somewhat realistic portrayal, and i cried SO MUCH regardless! rune and poppy in my heart for infinity! “Moonbeam hearts and sunshine smiles."

I’m so happy it ended the way it did because if that boy had somehow moved on I would have been so pissed😭😭 This was so emotional, I’m almost angry vicky made me read this cause of how much and how frequently i cried throughout the book. Very rarely do you read a book that starts and closes out a love story completely and this really did💗

I LOVE THIS BOOK SO MUCH. I started the book crying and ended it crying; I cried the entirety of the book. I had to put the book down in between and took a minute to just cry. It took me 10 minutes to actually finish the last few chapters because of how painful it was. I probably loved it so much because it is a fear of mine. However, I was not a fan of the epilogue, but other than that, IT IS AN AMAZING BOOK. It was the purest and sweetest story I have ever read. I want to stray away from these kinds of reviews because it might put a ton of expectations and it may fail for some people, but this is genuinely how I felt about this book. Didn't really like the writing, but I was too focused on the story to care about that. If I could give more than 5 as a review, I would. If I could read this book for the first time again, I WOULD.

I was wrong, if you think ‘If he had been with me” was tough on the eyes, this one is going to hurt a lot more. I’ve never cried this much because of a book, from beginning till end. The love shared between Poppy and Rune was true true love and I adored these two with my whole heart. If you really need a good cry and want to know what it’s like to be loved fully and completely, read this book!

definitely one of my favorite reads this year, i was sobbing throughout the last three chapters and this book made me feel terribly single but it was still amazing absolute a++ read i think i’d probably reread this when im sad

When I tell you I SOBBED during this whole book. I can only WISH to be loved so much. I felt it was a bit repetitive at some points but definitely was a page turner. Cried till the end.
