i didn't remember reading this until a friend returned my copy... and omg, this was awful.

that's the same guy from the obsidian (another awful book) cover? i want to apologize to myself for reading this and go through this torture

I dont know how I feel about this one. Rating it 2.5 stars for now. I listened to this book during my work day today. I felt like there was a mix of Shiver by maggie stiefvater and Twilight by Stephanie Meyer. I was invested in finding out more about this Death person. The character that really really irritated me was the best friend, holy moly self centered and obnoxious. I wasnt a fan of the audiobook, maybe I shouldve read the physical book instead. One thing I did love was the inclusion of mental health awareness. I might pick up the 2nd book in a future.
