What a way to end a wonderful trilogy. The books all had their weak points - especially the second, which was too focused on the not-very-interesting B story - and in this book too there was a bit much of that. But when we got back to the cosmic mythology here, it was fab. The answer to the mystery wasn’t a big surprise, but the final resolutions were beautifully executed. My favourite characters got very appropriate endings (especially one disabled character, whose arc was a delight). And I continued to love all the main characters, with all their entertaining flaws - the most unexpected kind of scrappy heroes. Not a perfect series of books, but a very good one.
