This one is very much a case of a man who knew too much - and it got him killed. Fortunately, Ms. Marple just so happened to be in his corner and helped prove it was, in fact, murder. If only he was the only one! The mystery, to me, was quite obvious. There are a few red herrings, as per usual, but I felt the true story stuck out like a sore thumb. For that reason, my true rating is only 4.5 stars, but I'm rounding up to bring the Goodreads average closer to my ideal rating. It's a great example of a classic Agatha Christie murder mystery.

All in all, I thought the characters were well differentiated. I never lost track of who was who and what their motives were in the story line. That's something that can easily get muddled in a large cast of characters. I think it was handled very well - as Christie usually does.

I would definitely recommend this book to friends.
