This novelization of the movie contains some events that were not in the movie, and that made it interesting. Overall a beautiful story of God's redemptive power.

A quick read. Only took me a few hours, but it left me profoundly interested in what the bible has to say about relationships. I saw the movie, which I loved, and I think it's an amazing book. Everyone at some point should pick up a copy of either because not only does it revolve around a common theme in today's society, but it also contains quick-paced action beautifully combined with quiet self-reflection.

It really pertains to today's society and it's main theme "never leave your partner behind, especially in a fire" should hold true in any relationship where love is present.
