A high school romance was really cute the end annoyed me like ughhh they had potential anyway onto the next book

It didn’t get me out of my slump, but it was an o.k. book (that’s just being nice). The lines were sooo cringy for me, but the friendships saves the book tbh. I feel like I’m anticipating their friendships more than the romance itself. It’s giving wattpad vibess for me.

This book was so cheesy and just cliché after cliché. There's nothing wrong with that but it annoyed me so much.

I spent half the time rolling my eyes or skipping over whole paragraphs because they always said the exact same thing. He was misunderstood and couldn't trust people and she was not like other girls. WE. GET. IT. (She was the definition of other girls, too, so bffr)

There was no need to repeat it 32 different times. I'm not kidding. I counted. It was absolutely RIDICULOUS.

I'm convinced this author hates me because there is no other reason on this earth why she would do this. This book should come with a therapy coupon because that's what I need to forget about this.

Her father was so confusing.... He seems to actually care about her and but then he calls her and it's his butler. She was actually put on hold and had to wait for 5 minutes before he finally talks to her just to say they have lunch when he's the one who ditched her on her first day💀 I couldn't believe it. She is so polite because I would've hung up the second I heard the butler instead of my father lol It was a bit akward when she called him Mr. LaFleur but he deserved it and it hurt him. Definitely a power move on her side.

I saw the plot twist coming from a mile away so, to no surprise, he isn't as bad as she thought.

If the author thought this bullshit of an end would entice me to read the sequel, she was wrong. I have no interest whatsoever. The ending was just confusing and irritating and made no sense. None.

I don't care for the fmc - I've already forgotton her name. I don't care for Noah. I don't care for their super weird relationship. I don't care for their friends. I don't care for the plot. I just DON'T CARE. And most of all, I don't give a fuck if she's not like other girls.

I was annoyed during the whole book. Only thing keeping me going was my monthly goal lol
