This is my favorite Den of Shadows stories (of the four that I have read) and it has been since I first read them. This story about a young woman being brutalized and coming out stronger for it while still struggling to overcome her (very real) demons and figure herself out is good stuff to me. I enjoy this book immensely even if the writing could use a little touching up.
