I quite enjoyed this book. I love the premise of a MM bully book and this was done pretty well.
The start is rough, not a lot is explained and things are just known without any reason for that happening. But as the book wears on that’s mostly fixed. There are some continuity issues and I wish Mary was note consistent, but it’s okay.
I loved the setting and the injection of religion. I do wish the language was a little more consistent as well, but these are relatively small issues.
The book is solid, I liked Taylor and want to see his story.
Jonah and Roman are great characters with a ton of depth.
If bully books are your thing, give this a go.

Once their paths cross, sparks fly and it puts them both on the path of secrets, stolen moments in the dark, and an emotionally raw battle that they each fight together and on their own. Jonah fights for his beliefs; and ultimately who he is without his family and the church, which is something he has always had. Roman fights for his life; and his freedom of who he is without his legacy attached. 

Bully King by Andi Jaxon is a YA MM Bully Romance. It broke me apart and put me back together again. My heart literally broke for Roman and Jonah and for every single piece of their love that they were fighting for. This story is raw and heart wrenching and REAL. It was beautifully written; even for the moments I was screaming for Roman and Jonah, their bond was unbreakable. 

Definitely a top read of 2020 for me.
