Archfiends Basilisk and Worm plan to destroy the Hero Foundation by infecting Hero.com, the website from which heroes download their abilities, with a virus. When the site crashes, only Pete, Toby, Lorn, and Emily are left with their powers, so it is up to them to stop the evil masterminds and save the world.
