As I reread Ms. Hunt's books, I am relieved to find that my memory of what drew me to her books in the first place was not entirely fabricated.
This book probes a concept that I have not figured out exactly how I believe. Instead of pushing an agenda one way or the other, Hunt probes the possibilities and leaves the resolution open for interpretation.
These characters come to life in real, believable ways, including Sema.
This book survives round two of the purge from my personal collection.
