Dreams Made Flesh consists of 4 stories. The first one - Weaver of Dreams was too abstract and full of concepts for me to grasp but is not very long at all so it is okay. The second one is fairly long and the one I just finished last night. I suspect it is going to be my favourite because it is about Lucivar! I love Lucivar. The events are set after Heir to the Shadows and before Queen of Darkness and it is interesting to see the backstory to his and Marian's relationship. I had felt her appearance was kind of random in the third book but you realise from this story that quite a bit of time had passed between the 2nd and 3rd book and not I feel like reading the 3rd again because I understand Marian a whole lot more. I liked the interactions between Saetan and Lucivar in this one - I felt like they had really bonded and become close after getting to know each other. And the romantic story between Lucivar and Marian was quite wonderful though I thought the Rut was just a lame way to bring about certain events. The Karla-Lucivar plot point was surprising but also showed the extent of dedication the Warlord Princes had for the Queens in their Circle. It also brought about two very interesting revealations - one about Lucivar and the other about Saetan's past. And the one about Saetan's past has its own story which is next - Zullaman.
