This infamous novel is the story of the good-natured Libertine half-siblings Genovefette and Cupidonnet, whose collective sexual awakening finds our heroes coupling with numerous partners in a bevy of illicit acts. Divested of scruples and constraints, Genovefette and Cupidonnet revel in the brute passions of sex where animal instincts take over and sexual love appears only in a voluptuous guise and always comes wearing a smile.
