One Soul One Struggle Region and Revolution in Indonesia

Written by a senior lecturer in Asian studies at Flinders University, this book presents a grass-roots level study of the Indonesian revolution. The author concentrates upon the Three Regions Affair (Tiga Daerah) in Pekalongan Residency in northern Central Java in 1945. Through the use of oral sources (more than 350 interviews), Dutch archives and Indonesian newspapers the author provides an insight into the revolutionary years in Indonesia.
