another good one! in this second, character-driven book, we get to see more flashbacks of the event’s that led to Shiloh’s survivor’s guilt; which plays a huge part in this story. I also enjoyed the progression of her very steamy and taboo relationship’s 😉 the only thing that i didn’t care for was the feeling that a lot of her actions felt repetitive and made the story drag at times. overall I really enjoyed this book and it looks like the cliffhangers are going to keep me heavily invested in continuing and finishing this series.

I just can’t get into the multiple relationship books and the storyline is so unrealistic but I refuse to dnf a book so

We pick up right after the events of book 1. It really does seem like the whole world is up against Shiloh. On top of everything she's already been through, now she has Jacob, Cassy and her dad the sheriff (all whom I'd love to just punch right in the face).

Shiloh continues to try to cope while also trying to figure out how to balance all of her relationships. It's definitely a learning curve when they're all vying for her attention.

The spice definitely picks up in this one! I'm hoping it'll continue to ramp up in book 3. Shiloh is very inexperienced but is not afraid to experiment. I really didn't see this cliffhanger coming! Betrayal really stings. Can't wait to find out what happens next!

I both love and am frustrated by this series. The characters, suspense, humor, and romance are great. My biggest issue is that I keep expecting something else. The books are not well marketed. The age-range and the number of books in the series are vague, confusing, or misleading. I honestly cannot tell if this series is trying to be YA, New Adult, or Adult. Additionally, I thought this was a duology and therefore was really confused and upset when I got to the end of this book and saw "to be continued...". Apparently, according to a comment from the author on goodreads there will be 4 books in the series. This series could be five stars, but it is mis-marketed so badly that it leads to confusion and detracts from the reading experience.

I also want to mention that I really hate the conflict at the end of this book with Logan, and feel like it is out of character and just for the sake of plot.

ok before i start - can i please have someone like Knox comfort me/help me through a hard time? because god i love this man!

this book felt like kind of a filler to me really instead of a full story, but it still had me hooked and eager to finish in one sitting. i loved how Shiloh dealing with her grief and trauma was written, it was so heart-wrenching and tear jerking to read at times.

i feel out of the 4 guys, the first book kinda focused more on Colt and Creed and the second book more on Knox and Keelan. which boy i am not complaining about, they are easily tied first-place-faves for me!

the whole story regarding Mr. X felt kind of on the back-burner for this book, i was hoping we'd see him or at least hear from him once or twice. but saying that; the twist at the end and a certain character pulling a massive personality twist? i was shocked. SHOCKED.

god help me with the cliffhanger, bring me book 3!

The author really started with the unexpected. Never would have I ever imagined that with an ending like THAT in book 1, the start of book 2 will be this.

While book 1 was absolutely mind-blowing and rememberable, this one was good enough to keep me interested. It's amazing to see Shi grow throughout the book along with the hurdles she faces in the process. 
This sequel focused more on the relationship and the spice has been introduced 🙌🏼. 

I enjoyed many things but there were some things that didn't work out for me.
•] There was unnecessary drama of other girls getting jealous. •] Shi was being annoying and was not taking precautions. Logan was right to get hyper and even though a middle ground could've been found, Shi didn't make it easy whenever there was a disagreement irrespective of with whom it was, the guys or Logan. •] She didn't think about situations/stuff from the POV of others. It's all about what she feels and not about her trying to understand why the other person did what he did (I only refer to the guys and Logan here.)

As always the guys were supportive and loving. Even though Knox isn't exactly in the loving group, we see his care from his actions and talk. Honestly, the reason Knox gives for not getting involved is fair enough. I really hope he joins the harem but for the timebeing I do understand his stance. 

Ending with a cliffhanger, I do have a cliché of Shi being pregnant when Mr.X kidnaps her for the next book and I desperately hope that I turn out to be wrong. 

Am looking forward to read WITSEC #3.
