I just can't get enough of this series! This was such an excellent book. I just want to gush and gush about how much I love this series. Pardon the fangirling. 

So in this one, Ethan and Lena have come back to Gatlin after he rescues Lena. Lena has chosen what side she wants to Claim. (view spoiler)[ She Claims both Light and Dark which is completely unheard of in the magic world.  (hide spoiler)]. It comes at a cost and Lena is trying to deal with what she has done. But crazy bad things are happening like it was mentioned in the synopsis. It's up to Ethan and Lena to restore Gatlin to what it was. Because even the Mortals are noticing things are not good and right in the world.

But Ethan is dealing with something that is he slowly losing control of. He has no idea what is happening to him. He is so frightened that he is losing himself. You can feel just how frightened he is. If that happened to me, I would be terrified as well. (view spoiler)[ He is the Wayward, which means he is the one that leads the Casters.  (hide spoiler)]. He didn't chose this life, but he does it all for Lena. I love how much he loves her. 

If I could have any sort of complaint about this book and the series as a whole it's that Lena does drive me nuts sometimes. I understand that she is going through a lot. Her boyfriend isn't acting right. She has to find a way to live with the choice she made. Something happened to Ridley, her cousin. There is a lot going on for her. But there were just times that I wanted to roll my eyes at her. I mean she had the nerve to get jealous because Ethan made friends with a girl when she up and left. 

But anyway. This book was amazing. Any questions that I might have had from the first two books are answered in this one. But I am so in love with this series. I just want everybody to read it!

Holy Moly. HOLY MOLY! Once I got the ball rolling on the third book I could not put it down. This book kept taking my breath away each and every chapter. Ethan's development as a character is amazing. And I found myself bawling my eyes out at the end of the book. As soon as I get home I am going to pick up the fourth and final book, which is very bitter sweet for me as I have gotten so close to Ethan Wate's character and Links as well.

           welp.... I did not expect this book to make me cry as I did that's for sure. and I certainly did not expect to like John Breed as much as I did, especially since I spent the whole time scowling whenever he appeared in the previous book. And although his and Liv's newfound romance is a bit cliche, I really liked it and it did kind of make sense. But I did feel like Lena's part in this book wasn't that important. She was just here as a girlfriend and as the cause of the Order breaking, but other than that nothing really interesting happened with her, except for discovering Sarafine's past, who although I'm very happy she died I still feel a teenzy bit sad she did. i mean, she was an interesting character and, I know it would've been a bit too far-fetched, it would've been nice to see if they could've changed the darkness in her....idk, but I do feel like her death was too abrupt and other than half a page of talking about it, she is never mentioned again and we didn't even see how Lena dealt with it. We may see it in the last book, but i think she'd be too preoccupied mourning her dead boyfriend. I think this is my favorite book yet of this series, and I really hope the last book won't disappoint, which I will start right this second :)

I am so, so glad that my bestie pushed me to read this series. This book was, well, the whole thing was kind of like filler chapters of a book but when you look back at it, you need everything that's there. I read something in the authors' acknowledgment that basically said that this series is about how you hold on to your family and the important people into your life and that's pretty much what I took from this book, so I guess they're doing it right.

Ethan and Lena haven't grown a lot since the first book, but it's only been a little over a year, and they're teens. And life isn't fair, not for them or anyone else in Gatlin. Though everyone keeps secrets longer than they should, and sometimes they do stupid things, everyone in this group of people is an integral part of the workings. The foundation has been laid since the first book. In the beginning you just think the Aunt's are some old bats that you really don't have to pay attention to but then they become a vital part of the puzzle.

Link and Ridley are my bad habit, my terrible addiction. All I want in book four is more Link & Rid. I know they seem so horrible for each other and all, but there's just something so RIGHT about those two. I need it to happen or I'll likely cry for days.

There was another new couple in this one that I kind of noticed coming but was still glad to see. I think they are good for each other, they're what the other one needs, and I like that. 

There is so much good in this series. I'm not really sure what the sequel is about but I'm definitely looking forward to it. I'll start book four soon, I'm interested to see what happened seeing as how the end was a cliff hanger of epic proportions!

Ending was pretty much the most exciting part for me. Still not in love with this series. I like it but just don't get as into it as I would expect myself to, which is somewhat disappointing. Review to come.

I guess you could say that this book kept me on my toes. The entire time reading it, I wanted to read faster and keep going farther to find out what happens. Plus the whole story line with Sarahfine at the end, was a huge turn of events for that subplot. Overall, I was in love with this book, despite the ending. I don't think the library's going to get me Beautiful Redemption fast enough. :)

When I started this book, I thought it was boring, just like all the others, but then I got about halfway through, and things got interesting. When Ethan starts forgetting things, his phone number, certain memories, and he starts hating chocolate milk, and writing with his left hand, he knows Amma, who's been acting strange lately, is hiding something from him. Ethan finds that at the end of Beautiful Creatures, when he died and Lena saved him, that a part of his soul is trapped in the Other World, and he has to fight it in order to keep destruction from taking the town of Gaitlin. So, the end of the book is a cliff hanger, and I'm glad there's a fourth book, Beautiful Redemption. Anyway, if you don't want a spoiled ending, don't read this last part. . .

           Questo è il romanzo chiave della saga. Con i precedenti abbiamo conosciuto la realtà di Gatlin, ora possiamo schierarci, dalla parte dei nostri personaggi preferiti e vivere nella storia. Mi son ritrovata a pensare come se fossi uno dei personaggi presenti, pensare ad ipotetiche soluzioni, a commuovermi, ed a gioire con loro. Man mano che andiamo avanti il mio affetto si rivolge verso Liv, che non solo ha scommesso tanto, ma il suo sacrificio le ha portato solo dolore. Nel profondo continuo a pensare che “non se lo merita”, è un personaggio colto, intelligente e simpatico. Olivia si merita di essere felice. Forse è il mio preferito dopo Lena, della quale ho avuto compassione nel primo libro, esperienze liceali, mi fanno sentire vicino a quello che lei può aver provato nel primo libro. Ma Lena, dal canto suo, è diventata cazzuta (passatemi il termine), inutile negarlo ha un certo fascino, ma io ho sempre avuto predilezione per i personaggi “sfigati”, quelli che non hanno niente, ne poteri, ne altro, ma riescono comunque a ritagliarsi il proprio spazio nella storia e quando combattono, lo fanno dando via l’anima. Sono quei personaggi che ti insegnano di più a livello umano secondo me. Invece devo dire che trovo insopportabile Ridley, per quanto smuova la mia compassione, è arrogante e presuntuosa, riesce a far saltare i nervi a chiunque, sicuramente è uno dei personaggi meglio riusciti. Il finale di questo libro è decisamente strappa cuore e strappa lacrime, non credo di essere capace di aspettare fino all’uscita in lingua italiana, credo che prenderò il seguito in lingua originale.

The Caster Chronicles is a unique blend of southern talk, the charms and the annoyances, teen angst, magic and young love. I have to admit that the growth in characters is something special and that’s the most important thing about it. All of the characters we’ve come to know evolve and it’s a privilege to watch.
