( I listened to the audiobook of this so I will also be talking about the narrator's performance) 
I listened to most of this book when I was walking my dog and sitting at home alone in the early days of summer. I was home alone because I had recently graduated from high school and my summer started earlier than everyone else in my family. I really loved the college environment in this book it really helped me get excited to go to college even though it was months away at that point. this book is beautifully written and makes it really easy to connect and feel for the characters I love them all ( except for Gretchen she constantly made my blood boil) Imogen's journey to discovering more about herself was very realistic and really helped keep me interested in the book. this review is very scattered because I read this months ago and I have a lot going on right now (college is eating me alive) this is yet another Becky Albertalli book that I love and I'm sure I will continue to love her work for years to come 
when I found out that Caitlin Kinnunen was narrating the audiobook I instantly went to Apple Books and per-ordered it despite the fact I had already pre-ordered a physical copy because 1. I knew I needed to hear her read this book and 2. two of my worlds were colliding  I do not regret it because her narration was incredible it helped me connect with the characters in a way I wouldn't;t have been able to by just reading the physical book.

AMO. Me siento tan identificada con Imogen, su manera de sobrepensar, sus preguntas y sentimientos sobre lo que siente, teniendo a gente que le impone una sexualidad con la que ella jamás dijo estar, es tan real. Amo muchísimo este libro. Amo que tenga a su hermana y a Lili, escucharon y apoyaron sin presionar ¡gracias! Lo única malo es el hecho de que hayan puesto y repetido reiteradas veces la palabra 'marica/maricones' ¿puede ser por la traducción? Si así con más ansias espero la traducción oficial de este libro. Lo necesito en mis manos y no está demás decir que la portada es preciosa 😭 Además, también agregar que me sacó de un bloqueo lector desde hace MESES, te hace pasar el tiempo rapidísimo y sin darte cuenta. Es todo lo que está bien.

As i’ve made a conscious effort to dive into more queer literature this year this book felt like a very empowering statement in its entirety it seems to scream “there is not one way to be queer everyone’s journey with identity is different” and I love it. I love our main couple of course but also imogen supports systems, This author has now shown in multiple novels how well she is able to capture self discovery, very well done! would extra recommend if you enjoyed her other books because style definitely comes through.
