Good lord is this way out of most comfort zone but my dark little soul loved it. This dark, gritty, story with some triggers is not for everyone but if you think you can handle it, you won't regret it. 

Give me the villain, you can keep your fairytale prince. I want someone that is going to push me so far out of my comfort zone, I'm sitting in the corner, rocking back and forth questioning my sanity and asking myself WTF did I just read. And Twitch was just that. He is the villain, the anti-hero that pushed and pushed until I just couldn't help but love him. He is broken, constantly questioning his decision about Lexi but he's also all alpha. The struggle he goes through with his feelings towards her are just another thing that you can't help fall in love with him over. 

Lexi who found herself after being broken as a child is one that I just couldn't help but love immediately. She may feel that what she wants is wrong and dirty for even enjoying it but it doesn't stop her from wanting Twitch. 

"This is not a love story. This is a story of love gone wrong." This is a great author disclaimer. 

You will not get what you want, the ending will destroy you and maybe make you mad but I absolutely loved it. It was great closure to the entire thing.

** spoiler alert **
           Two questions:
1. Why did this turn out to be actually good?
2. Why did this make me cry then angry the last couple of pages?

I first read this to have fun. I did not expect to finish it in less than a day, or even enjoy it. Granted at the beginning things were very toxic and sexist.

Exhibit A:

 I need to punish her.
 You need her. Just her. Nothing else. 

 wtf  This screams toxicity to me.

Exhibit B:

 After all when a dog does a trick or behaves, he gets a treat. And so Lexi shall get her treat. 

At that point I was fuming. He compared her to a dog, she stated many times in the beginning how scared she was of him, and not scared but excited, BUT ACTUALLY SCARED AS IN SHE DID NOT WANT TO DO WHAT HE WANTED TO DO WITH HER. 

 My tears were turning him on. This scared me like nothing else. 
  HUH?!?! 

Then I sucked it up and told myself that it was supposed to be a toxic relationship. And I really hope it was supposed to be that way. Because that man has done some unforgivable shit.

Also, he has a pierced penis.... let that sink in. Wut?!

So when I found out that he 'died' I found myself surprised and a bit concerned. 

I am, without a doubt, the person who is shocked the most to found out that I ended up liking it, toxicity and all.

DNF at 26% 

This was recently recommended to me by a few friends and was really hyped up. Well those were lies lmao. 

I really tried to like this but it was just meh. The prologue and first couple chapters I was intrigued but after I was just so bored and not even the sex scenes kept me entertained. 

I don't like Twitch, I don't like Lexi, and I'm very confused as to what the plot is supposed to be. 

I went into this book expecting a stalker and I kinda got it but not enough for a book that's promoted as STALKER.

I was not impressed with this book. It started out ok, kind of hot, but then I just couldn't get past what a loser this guy was. Millionaire or not, I can't imagine letting someone treat me that horribly.

I adored this story.

I could go on and on about how cute, heartwarming, gut wrenching, thrilling, AND steamy this book is… but you should experience it for yourself.

It is lengthy, but whenever I put it down, I couldn’t help but want to go back to reading it. It is such a good book and it had me on the edge of my seat.

I almost cried at the heartwarming parts, I swear to god. Watching the two main characters (Lexi and Twitch) falling in love again… ugh! Can’t get enough of it.

This book truly drew me in. I’m curious to about what the sequel has in store.
