i read the book very quickly — i. two days, actually. i can’t argue that’s a pretty ‘meh’ book. is it pretty involving? yes; is it good? not sure. 

i spent most of the time think ‘why am i reading this nonsense’, and the answer is: we’re lockdown, with a pandemic disease spreading, regardless of any power; so i guess i deserved a nonsense book to help me forget about the world a bit. that’s it. neither amazing nor terrible.
