I enjoyed and learned so much more from this book than I thought I would. 
While I wish that Clinton had narrated the entire book rather than just the introduction and epilogue, the narrator that got the job wasn't too bad. He just took some getting used to. 
I found myself absolutely astounded at the level of detail Clinton included in this book. I learned so much about events that happened in the couple decades before my birth and those that occurred during my childhood. Clinton is a very smart man and a rather good author too. 
He especially impressed me with his knowledge of the political process itself, aka what it takes to get elected both in rural, Southern Arkansas and on the vast, national level. Whether or not I agree with his political views, his knowledge of the process is astounding. (Though at some level, every man who makes it to the presidency has a better grasp on the process than those who do not.) 
The only downside to this book is the understandable (but not necessarily justifiable) defensiveness evident in discussions of Whitewater Gate and Ken Starr's far-reaching (some might say overreaching) investigation.
Like I mentioned in my review of "Living History," I learned much about these news stories that was "obvious" when I was a child, things that make me think be reevaluate my own opinions of/judgements about these controversial events. My opinion is still evolving but I must say that having both sides of the argument helps with maintaining a balanced worldview. 
I strongly recommend this book to all those who can read with discernment and not let their personal judgement cloud their interpretation and to all those who consider themselves a student of history, amateur or academic.
