The Becoming

Just a few random thoughts. 
1) It is a huge problem when the MC is turned via a violent act of rape and when she thinks about it afterwards thinks that as she 'enjoyed' the physical act then it wasn't rape. The author needs to educate herself about the physical responses that can happen during rape. But whatever, when it is forced upon you, as it was with Anna, IT IS RAPE.
2) Anna seems to have no feelings about being raped other than as I mentioned above. Whilst I'm sure that every person who has been through this type of trauma reacts in different ways, it seems a tad off that there is virtually no further mention of it happening to her unless it is from her male F&F.
3) It was obvious right from the beginning who the villain was. Very obvious.
4) Whatever happened to Anna's friend Michael? He was mentioned twice (she was supposed to go and stay with him after she was released from the hospital) never to be heard from again.

More random thoughts
1) The sexual assault that 13-year-old Tricia suffered did NOT need to be written on-page as it was. This is fun UF and the inclusion of the graphic nature of her abuse was totally unnecessary.
2) Why are almost all the characters male? 
3) Why are 3 of the 4 other notable female characters (David's GF Gloria, Tricia's mom and her grandmother) horrible people?
4) Again, pretty obvious who at least one of the villains was.
