This book was extremely enjoyable to read. Mclaren's writing style and humour was refreshing and beneficial in bringing out his ideas. I didn't agree with everything (some of the time I felt as though Mclaren was on a different planet/paradigm of thought than me), but then again, what fun would it be reading a book if I did? I enjoyed Mclaren's look at the "7 Jesus' he has known" as well as the way he gleaned positive aspects of major Christian traditions. I thought his emphasis on being missional and orthopraxy (not only orthodoxy) was also great. I'm not sure if I would reccomend it to everyone...but I enjoyed it nonetheless.
