This is again not a book for everyone but I yet again enjoyed my second Francine Rivers book. There is just this way that Francine is able to capture my attention and keeps me hooked throughout this whole story. But it’s definitely not for everyone but it is for me and I really liked it.

La historia y los personajes no terminan de construirse lo suficiente. Parece que menciona personas, situaciones y lugares y después se olvida para pasar a otra cosa. Y así vas, leyendo sin entender bien cómo llegaste hasta ahí y terminando la historia con un montón de cabos sueltos y un sabor amargo.

What can you say, it’s a Francine Rivers book. As expected the characters go through hell, to come together in perfect unison. 

The characters are well written, with personal growth throughout the book. I love it when an author can write the “bad guy” that makes your hackles rise. 

Francine Rivers knows how to take a Bible story and turn it into this perfectly recreated scenario.
