Amazing study and an adventure by the author. With his age and foolishness, i felt connected with Carlos, while also noticing how different of a world i see through my eyes. Even though i am a more reason person than spirits, the book has great teachings. The steps of becoming a man-of-knowledge; firstly overcoming fear of unknown to learn properly and being clear, then looking past your clarity to not be blinded by your ego and being powerful. Then, still holding to your character rather than the status your power brings, all until the last enemy, old age takes you down. While we may not be man-of-knowledge, we can still see the lost people of each step around us. Just like this example, i take the teachings as an analogy of the material world and inner thoughts, i recommend the book to anyone that can differ this.

Las enseñanzas de Don Juan: una forma yaqui de conocimiento, es un libro escrito por Carlos Castaneda. Se publicó por primera vez en 1968 en inglés y en 1974 en español. Presentado como un aprendizaje de un brujo yaqui, se supone que narra las vivencias del autor junto a un supuesto chamán, yaqui del estado de Sonora o Oaxaca llamado Juan Matus. La veracidad de los hechos relatados, al igual que la del resto de la obra de Castaneda, ha sido fuente de polémica, considerándose un ejemplo de literatura new age o un caso de engaño para algunos, mientras que para otros se trata de un libro auténtico.1Cronológicamente es el primer libro de colección de cuatro libros, seguida sucesivamente de una segunda saga de nueve más.
