I loved this book. The storylines were sweet and the characters were funny and very likable. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because the characters constantly talked about being plus-sized and how people might not like them because they were "big girls". Several of the female characters were plus-sized (size 16) and they touched on this in nearly every conversation. Size 16 really isn't that big, and I felt the constant reminders detracted from the book. Aside from this, I really like the author's writing style and look forward to reading more of her books.

For some reason Goodreads isn't letting me delete the accidental star. Anyways, I had to DNF. I really didn't want to. I just found it so slow and it explained waaaayyy too many things for my liking instead of focusing on the story. I was seeing myself headed to that dread slump so I'm officially declaring no more. 

I may pick it up in the future, mostly for the two young girls. I love their energy and their personalities so much! So for them, I'd give this a try again in the future, just not now.
