I really liked this book, we have sarah booth who is trying to figure out a way to save her ancestral home. there is a ghost, which sarah can see and talk to. The ghost has been around for generations. 
While trying to find a way to make some money, a friend of hers comes over and offers to pay her a generous amount to find out some dirt on this guy Hamilton who is coming home after years of being away in Europe. He left after both of his parents died. He was a suspect in his mothers death, and his sister commited herself to an institution. 
The friend wants to make sure she did the right thing marrying this other guy, even though i don't think her and Hamilton were ever an actual couple. 
While investigating Sarah begins to uncover more questions then answers. She know wants to solve the mystery of his parents death. Even more so after she meets him, and finds out how sexy and mysterious he is.. 
I had no idea who actually done it, until it was revealed.. I am definitely going to be reading the next book in this series..
