It was adorable, I especially appreciated the aspects of Nicole's place in Gabe's family never really being questioned. As soon as she was in, she was family for life, even if her and Gabe didn't see it themselves. it was so heartwarming to see her find a sense of belonging and feel confident enough to defend even to the people who thought they knew her best.

3.5. The end of the book was annoying: girl, why does he have to “fight” for you??? Communication!! Just say what you want!! Don’t be pissed that he did what you said??
