I loved how just like his other work, this was non-linear and the pieces sort of, kind of, all fit together as a whole. As a big Lynch fan, I really enjoyed when he talked about his own ideas process, I was less keen on the feeling that I was being sold a self-help course the other 50% of the time. 

I’m given it a 4 as a fan, but I’d have liked to have given it a 3.5 if possible.

This book is more of a stream of thought than a structured book but I guess it's just how David Lynch thinks

His unique style comes from this unique thought process, and that comes from him being unapologetically himself. This book let me glimpse into how he can be so genuinely himself.

Wonderful book, really! You can read it in one day

I like David Lynch and I like Transcendental Meditation so to some extent I approve of this book. 

But if you’re interested in either of the above, and/or in making films yourself, I’d recommend the documentary where David Lynch talks about it, ‘Meditation Creativity Peace’, the Transcendental Meditation website and David Lynch’s films themselves.

The book itself contains some fairly simple ideas that are not especially revolutionary, many of which feel like they’re there more for the sake of filling a book. I think David Lynch should stick to surrealist films, or at least try to channel some of that crazy mind into his writing.
