The breath rushes out of my lungs, leaving me lightheaded as I stare at the entrance, enchanted. Every thought fades away until there’s nothing left but her — my 

“You can have it,” I tell her, the words escaping my lips before I’ve had a chance to truly think them through. “The hotel. If you want it, it’s yours.”

She blinks at me in confusion, but then the biggest smile transforms her face, and something akin to hope sparkles in her eyes. Fucking hell. I caved. Again. In this battle of wills, I’ll always lose, because it means seeing her smile like that.

Zane walks me to the passenger seat and opens the door for me. I glance up at him, my heart skipping a beat. Does he realize he’s started to do that again?

“Haven’t seen her in a while,” Luca adds, frowning. “She went to college in London, didn’t she? How long was she away? Three years?”

If you are looking for a book that is academic rivals to one night stand to enemies to lovers to enemies to an arranged marriage to lovers. With a healthy amount of angst that makes you either want to throw the book against the wall or to binge it all in one sitting. And I ate this book up, I love feeling every emotion while reading a book and this fourth book in the series did it and I loved every second about it. Like I think I’ve said before the pages are laced with something because this book is 500 pages and I read 90% of it in one day obsessed with  all of it and needing to know what happens. I’m excited to jump into Lexington’s book next because he has been so read about before and it’s time to see what his story will be like because I know there won’t be a dull second throughout.

And I ate this book up, I love feeling every emotion while reading a book and this fourth book in the series did it and I loved every second about it. I’m excited to jump into Lexington’s book next because he has been so read about before and it’s time to see what his story will be like because I know there won’t be a dull second throughout. 

Devoured this in one day.

Honestly was skeptical at first but I loved the theme and the dynamic between the two characters.

I'm excited for the next installment!!

Zane was too sweet if that can even be a thing but still loved him. Celeste kept annoying me with the constant mention of Lily

This is the realest thing in the whole series lmao They are so whipped it would be pathetic if it wasn't as peferct as it is. Zane took it to a whole different level though. The way he loves Celeste even outdid his brothers which says A LOT.

The past chapters were so good even tho I was anxious the whole time seeing each new chapter as a tick from the bomb that was about to blow up. And god, when shit exploded it really went everywhere. Never have I ever read something quite surreal and unbelievable as this. It was insane. And not in the good way.

I actually hated the last chapter of the past and the first 15 chapters of the present. It was insufferable. That's why rating this book is so hard because if the present didn't happen this would've been a no-brainer and 5 stars. But the batshit crazy drama went down and it threw me off so much, I even thought about dnf-ing. And then it took in true Windsor fashion so long to get to a place that didn't hurt like hell or was just depressing af. But in the end it was an enjoyable read and I really did love everything else.

I needed a lot of time to forgive her because the way Zane hurt was so unfair. Even though, I can understand why she reacted the way she did, I can understand him more. She truly fucked up.

Near the end she had me sweating that there wouldn't be a happy end - impossible, I know haha. But the way they talked really made me gave up because every thing was true. There are things you can't fix. I'm so glad they did tho!

It's so cute how they've always only were with each other. Like those adorable grandparents that tell you they met at 15 and spent all those years together since.

The Epilogue really made me weak, too. That first paragraph was the cutest thing I have ever read in my whole entire life.

We got the best gift as an ending, tho. I was worried sick how Sierra and Xavier would turn out, especially after he got that girlfriend of his, but now I'm just happy and excited for their book!

It guts me everytime he mentioned their mother. They all loved them so much it makes me so sad everytime they mention them. Even worse is that I don't like their grandmother. She wasn't a good mother figure at all. I'm glad Zane has Clara now because she is what their grandmother wishes to be.

Now this wouldn't be a review of me, if I didn't hate on the grandmother. And I really really REALLY HATE her. Each book makes me hate her more even when I think it couldn't get worse. And everytime she tries to turn it around and blab about only wanting the best for them when she doesn't. She is the worst grandma I ever read about. One of the worst woman overall to be honest. Other "villains" in romance books are at least openly vindictive towards the reader. To do these things to the people she loves makes you wonder what she does to people she hate.

WHEN THEY ALL KNELT BEFORE HER AND BEGGED HER TO LET HIM MARRY HER?!?!?!?!

Not only did it show how much Zane and the rest of his family love Celeste but it also showed what a BITCH his grandma is. The audacity of denying him and threatening to disown hin, only to later forcing him to marry the girl that not only broke his heart but did so much worse. That woman has me gagged in every single book when she shows how little you can love your family while pretty much only "loving" them as their single occupation. She should see a therapist on that.
