I think this is a must read book. It tells the story a child, Nat, from the day after he was born to adulthood. In the parrell story line, it also tells the story of Nathan from the day he found Nat.....as an abandoned newborn. It tells a story of unconditional love.

I give this a 5 star because I loved the story and I fell in love with the characters and was enthralled in wanting to know about them. Catherine Ryan Hyde does a great job of pulling you in. As soon as I finished this book, I searched to find another of her books to read.

When Nathan McCann discovers a newborn baby boy half buried in the woods, he assumes he's found a tiny dead body. But then the baby moves and in one remarkable moment, Nathan's life is changed forever. The baby is sent to grow up with his grandmother, but Nathan can't forget him and is compelled to pay her a visit.
