A prosa é do jeitinho que eu gosto, mas a história não ta merecendo a beleza e criatividade da escrita.

This book I have read a long time ago but still, it is so vivid in my mind. Almost everyone already knows this masterpiece from the very well-known Colombian writer Gabriel García Márquez, awarded the Nobel Prize in Literature.

Cien Años de Soledad in its mother tongue or One Hundred Years of Solitude in English, this book probably already is translated in every possible language, so you don't have an excuse not to read it. 😅 I choose to read in my mother tongue which is Portuguese and I think the translation was excellent.

This book tells us the multi-generation story of the Buendía family and it was probably one of the most surprising books of my life. Literally, there is nothing like this! If you love magical realism as I do and you are looking for something out of the ordinary this is definitely for you.
