Manuscript Copies of Letters from Charles Townshend to Richard Brocklesby

The paper on which the manuscript copies were made carries a watermark of the date 1840. With the copies is a note, 1863, from John Murray III explaining how the papers were given to him by John Wilson Croker. Also included are notes from 1857 or before, by Croker on the letters.
