When the dead body of a TV producer's son is found in a dumpster behind her mother's mansion, Nikki Harper, the daughter of Hollywood screen legend Victoria Bordeaux, becomes immersed in a world of celebrity drug-dealing, cults, illegal aliens and backstabbing as she tries to solve the crime.
