i feel like there are so many things I could say about this book. This was my first read by Chloe and i was not disappointed. though it felt slow at the start, it quickly picked up and sucked me into a complex magical world. this was one of the most unique fantasy books I have ever read. I cannot stress this enough. I have never seen a fantasy book like it. The world itself was unlike any others I have experienced. her writing was more complex than I am used to in a fantasy book which was so pleasing. I loved her characters and the twists left me questioning what could possibly happen next. Needless to say, I cannot wait for the following books in the series!
