As a hopeless Dragon Age fan, my opinion is compromised. I think I may have enjoyed this more than the couple novels from the series I've read. It was a real treat to get stories from different BioWare writers, exploring different countries and conflicts around the continent leading up to the next game. There's a big focus on characters we don't get know, but who will probably be at the edges of Dragon Age: Dreadwolf, though we do get some beloved game character cameos. Eight Little Talons by Courtney Woods was a particularly fun murder mystery about the Antivan Crows.
