some thoughts:
- possibly the most feminist thing i have read, and i appreciate that
- do i go back to school because honestly i really enjoyed this and would like to discuss/hear a lecture on it
- i wonder how i will see love and intimacy differently midlife

I generously enjoy reading bell hooks. I also would like everyone to read her smart and wise words. The book really summed up the theoretical frame of "the female search for love" and all its occuring obstacles, thoughts, thraumas. I feel it was general and focused at the same time, on some topics I would have loved to read more, but for starters - especially women to investigate themselves, it is a very, very good read.
